Waimz™ is a real-world social app for LGBTQ+ adults (18+). It helps you find queer-friendly places, LGBTQ+ communities and dates near you, at home or while traveling. Waimz™ is a brand of Humainz, Inc. and is coming soon to iOS and Android.
Is Waimz™ a dating app?
Partly. Dating is one of three equal parts of Waimz™, next to communities and places to go. Many people use Waimz™ only for friends, community and nights out. Your profile shows what you're here for, so friendship and dating stay clear.
Can I use Waimz™ just to make LGBTQ+ friends?
Yes. On Waimz™, join communities built around interests and identities, from run clubs and book clubs to parents' groups and support circles, and meet people at real-life meetups. You never have to use dating.
How do I find LGBTQ+ community when I move to a new city?
Open Waimz™ in your new city. Radar shows the people, communities and LGBTQ+-friendly places around you, and the Waimz™ city guide lists bars, cafés and community spaces in 12 cities to start with.
How can I find gay bars and queer-friendly places when I travel?
Waimz™ Places shows LGBTQ+-friendly bars, clubs, cafés and events near you, wherever you are. Before a trip, browse the Waimz™ city guide. With Premium, Travel mode lets you set your location before you arrive.
Is Waimz™ free?
Yes. On Waimz™, Discovery is free and unlimited, including Map, List, Discover and Radar, and so are Communities, Places and safety tools. Free members can start a limited number of new chats each month. Replies and incoming chats are always unlimited.
What does Waimz™ Premium include?
Waimz™ Premium costs 19 USD per month after a 7-day free trial and auto-renews until cancelled. It includes unlimited new connections, including inside Communities, featured placement in Discover, Instagram on your profile, Travel mode to change your home location and the W Premium badge.
Is Waimz™ safe?
On Waimz™, safety is a shared responsibility. We build the tools: selfie verification, block & report in every chat, hide distance and discreet mode. And we moderate with a mix of tech and real people. But no app can vet everyone or control what happens offline, and we don't run background checks.
